Curry-yogurt glaze

From Cook's Illustrated

Makes about 1 cup. Published July 1, 2008. From Cook's Illustrated.

Ingredients

3/4 cup plain yogurt
2 medium garlic cloves , minced or pressed through garlic press (about 2 teaspoons)
2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
2 teaspoons minced fresh cilantro leaves
1/2 teaspoon grated zest from 1 lemon
1 1/2 teaspoons curry powder
1/2 teaspoon sugar

Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Whisk ingredients together in small bowl; season to taste with salt and pepper. Reserve half of glaze for serving and use other half for brushing on chicken while grilling.
